In 1924, a young Willam Crow moved from the Colorado farming community of Haxtun to open a jewelry store in Denver.  He specialized in fine jewelry and watch repair and within a few short years, he had four full time watchmakers who serviced  pocket watches for the railroad.  Along with carrying fine jewelry and diamonds, the store also sold everything from suitcases to mixers. Over the years, William Crow Jewelers grew into a very well-respected jewelry store.  Willliam Crow eventually turned his store over to Lawrence Kaiser, who had worked at the store since 1947 and later Mr. Kaiser sold the store to his son, Jon Kaiser, who owns and runs the jewelry store today.

William Crow has over 88 years of continuous operation and  carries a large selection of loose diamonds, gemstones, gold, pearls, watches,  as well as a multitude of engagement rings and other fine jewelry.  William Crow also specializes in custom  ring  and  jewelry design.  Waxes are hand carved or created by computer cad-cams and one of a kind designs are turned out almost daily.

William Crow is one of the few remaining jewelry  stores to offer in-house jewelry and watch repair.  There are G.I.A. Graduate Gemologists on site as well as a Certified Master Watchmaker. They work on all jewelry and fine watches.  This includes everything  from repairing a simple gold chain to restoring your grandmother’s heirloom treasures.  Our watchmaker can also repair and overhaul Rolex watches, Patek Philippes, and most better quality watches. 

William Crow boasts an extensive Estate jewelry department.  Vintage and modern jewelry and fine watches can be purchased at up to 70% off their original retail prices. Consignment pieces are assessed by our qualified salespeople.  The percentage of William Crow's fees is dependent upon the value of the consigned piece.  

Located on the third floor of the University Building in downtown Denver, William Crow Jewelry has been a mainstay for four generations and plans to continue their tradition for years to come.
